An open letter to all potential recruits

Greetings,

Dark Retribution was founded in June of 1999 and since it’s inception has been an all evil class/race guild that is more interested in forming a community spirit than seeking out riches and loot. We feel that power is best exemplified in strength of unity and comradeship. While we do not constantly seek out large scale encounters, we are not above doing them.

Potential members should be aware of a few things.

1.)   Firstly, as stated above, this is not a guild concerned with powerlevelling or constant acquisition of items. Players who are seeking a guild for that type of experience will not find Dark Retribution to be a suitable home.

2.)   Dark Retribution has strong role-playing roots. As a member, you are not required to role-play your character, but should be aware that others will.

3.)   All new members are subject to a minimum of a 30 day probationary period to ensure they are a good fit for the guild.

4.)   To even be considered for membership, you must be of an evil class or race.

5.)   There is no minimum level required to join.

Please read all of the following before following the instructions below.

This being said, you first step is to read the guild’s charter to be sure that you understand what will be expected of you should you be accepted as a member. The Charter may be accessed through the following link. Guild Charter

Once you have read the charter and understand what will be expected of you, proceed to the recruiting center and add a post with your name, class, level, as well as a bit about yourself. Shortly thereafter, the post will be answered and a time to meet for a formal interview will be set. To proceed to the Recruiting Forum, follow this link. Recruiting Forum

Should your interview go well, you will be invited into the guild as soon as it is possible. (At times, we may not have an officer in the area you are adventuring in) Upon joining, you will be subject to a 30 day probationary period (longer if you are not on often) during which it will be determined whether you fit in well with the guild.
